About Our Client
Our client is a fast growing trading business across APAC region. Due to repaid expansion plans a need has arisen for a senior level professionals to join their team based at their corporate head office in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the CEO, this is a key position in which you will formulate and implement HR initiatives to support the achievement of business objectives and company growth. You will be responsible for setting up the HR function and will oversee all facets of HR including recruitment and selection, succession planning and talent retention, compensation and benefits, training and management programme development etc. Furthermore, you will develop and implement HR policies and guidelines in compliance with local legislation.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you will be a degree holder with at least 10 years generalist Human Resources experience working within SME. With an entrepreneurial flair and a passion to succeed as well as a team-oriented and "hands-on" approach are essential. You will have a solid understanding of labour law and the employment market in Hong Kong and APAC region. Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin will be essential.
