About Our Client
Our client is renowned a luxury jewellery brand in China with more than 300 retails nationwide and revenues on over 300 billion in 2015. As a leading jewellery brand at the forefront of luxury, it is highly-regarded for the excellence of its design and commitment to uniqueness. To cope with its ongoing business expansion and future company growth in mainland China, it is now actively seeking a Head of Sales and Operation, who has strong passion about the job as well as rich experience in sales, operation and leadership role.
*Manages separate functional departments by providing cohesive direction and leadership to ensure local initiatives support the strategic direction and conform to applicable divisional and company standards.
*Communicates facility and company goals to all employees on a regular basis.
*Controls expenses by monitoring various financial reports, establishing expenditure guidelines and by approving expenditures to achieve budgeted levels of a profitable operation and aggressively build capabilities, expertise and service to promote growth rates.
*Provide leadership, management and mentoring to the sales team.
*Play a vital role in establishing the sales strategy and lead implementation to meet the profitable growth objectives of the business and achieve maximum results.
*Focus on exceeding sales and margin objectives, pipeline growth, enhancing customer relationships, increasing market share and supporting the overall operations of the business
*Defend existing business with key customers and distributors, and develop new, incremental volume.
*Recommend strategies to explore new business opportunities.
*Support the deployment of go to market strategies which incorporate market research, competitive analysis, market opportunity assessment and pricing strategies and support the strategic business plan.
*Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions.
*Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions.
*Lead complex sales negotiations, attends sales presentations and closes sales deals.
*Continuously motivate the sales team and inspires them to stay focused on company's goals.
The Successful Applicant
*Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
*Consistent sales achievements and retail operation experience in industries.
*Minimum 2 years of senior sales leadership and retail operation management experience.
*Must be a self-motivator with new ideas to help an early stage company
*Strong Track record in FMCG/Retail market environment.
*Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a result driven, team oriented environment.
*Good at both English and Mandarin
