About Our Client
Our client is a renown brand and has an established track record of success in the fashion, apparel and accessories industry. As a continued interest to grow their presence in Asia aggressively, they are currently looking to appoint an Asia Head of Retail for one of their key brands based in Singapore to lead the next phase of expansion.
Reporting to the Group General Manager, you will be overall responsible for the P&L and general management of the business in the Asian region. You will work closely with the head office to drive the Asia expansion plans and play an integral role in executing the Brand DNA and consistent customer experience across all markets. Leading a sizeable team, you will ensure all functions such as sales, brand and marketing, merchandiser, retail operations and visual merchandiser are all running effectively. As a leader, you will lead from the front and cultivate, develop and ensuring the teams work towards a common goal. Additionally, you will maintain or build on existing relationship with strategic partners, and establish new channels/retail network with the distributors or retailers in the countries.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should be degree qualified and possess at least 10 years of relevant working experience in the related field i.e. retail, fashion, apparel and accessories from a successful and renown multinational organisation. Successful general or retail management experience with direct responsibility for a management team, and a demonstrated track record of delivering top line growth and bottom line performance is essential. You should have a strong business acumen, a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and possess a strong belief of people first and outstanding customer service.
