About Our Client
Our client is a leading Retail company with an enviable reputation, an opportunity now exists for a very experienced professional to manage the recruitment and resourcing function.
Based in Hong Kong, you will lead your team to deliver a first class recruitment service for the organisation at present and plans for considerable future growth. You will manage and develop established resourcing teams in a range of key areas including Experienced Hire, mass recruitment etc. As a member of the HR leadership team, you will be ultimately responsible for the creation and implementation of a comprehensive recruitment and resourcing strategy for the group. Given the scale of the organisation, you will be expected to establish strong and effective lines of communication with your internal clients, recruitment agencies and search firms while ensuring that leading edge recruitment practices and assessment processes are adopted.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you will be able to demonstrate a consistent track record of success in a recruitment and resourcing function within a large multinational organisation or recruitment company. A background within the retail or catering sector would be essential. Possessing relevant degree qualifications, you must have a detailed understanding of contemporary HR and recruitment systems as well as recruitment assessment tools including psychometric testing. A strong leader with exceptional communication skills, you will possess high levels of commercial acumen, innovative and the ability to solve problems creatively in a culturally sensitive fashion. Fluency in English is essential with proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin.
