About Our Client
Our client is a Hong Kong listed conglomerate with a long history in Hong Kong. They have newly created this role to secure some in-house real estate expertise which will help them develop their real estate / property strategy in the medium to long term future.
Managing a team of property specialists, to be responsible for:-
Real Estate Development
*Assessing development potential sites and recommending strategies to maximise economic potential of these sites
*Leading project development, including implementing strategies to successfully deliver projects, identifying suitable partners, establishing appropriate structures for JVs and negotiating joint venture agreements to safeguard company interests.
*Participating in project negotiations and in gaining support for projects, managing stakeholder relationships and community engagement exercises.
*Undertaking negotiations with Government on planning and development.
*Liaising with and managing external real estate advisors, architects, surveyors and other property and construction consultants.
*Manage project development so that safety, time, cost and quality are well controlled
*Providing periodic management updates to Group senior management and the Properties Board.
Property Advisory Work
*Identifying opportunities for meeting property needs in Hong Kong and in maximizing financial viability of property investments.
*Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations in all property and land transactions.
*Providing professional real estate advisory and consultancy services including valuation, survey, negotiation and documentation.
*Co-ordinating with Government departments on all land and property issues.
The Successful Applicant
*15+ years qualified real estate property specialist in Hong Kong.
*Understand different Government requirements for commercial land uses, office, industrial etc.
*Solid knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations governing property, property development and construction
*Solutions orientated with capacity to navigate well in regulatory environment.
*Strong leadership skills with analytical judgement.
*Strong negotiation skills
*Good project management and communication skills
*Solid presentation skills
*Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
