About Our Client
Our client is a well-known wine & spirit company with an established business in the region. They are now inviting a season sales professional from the industry to join their regional team in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, this is a key leadership role in the company which the incumbent will assume full P&L responsibility of the designated markets. You will be responsible for formulating business strategies and managing the financial performance of the business. You will report to the management team regularly on business performance, client development strategies as well as market trend and customer feedback. As a senior leader of the group, you will coach and groom your team to develop a strong talent pool for the sustainable growth of the business. You will also manage the back office function of the company to ensure a smooth and cost efficient operation. Regular travelling is required.
The Successful Applicant
To be qualified for this role, you should be a degree holder with at least 15 years of relevant experience in the Wine & Spirit industry. Prior regional exposure is highly preferred. Solid knowledge in revenue and profitability management is required. Successful experience in leading and coaching a team is essential. You should be a strategic thinker with strong business acumen and leadership charisma. Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is required.
