About Our Client
Our client is a leading Airline brand in Hong Kong. Well known and well loved, they are now growing and aiming to cement their brand in quality and options. Currently with many plans for expansion, they are looking to increase their partner airlines and destinations. They are now looking for a talented General Manager, Business Development to lead and develop the team in Hong Kong.
As the General Manager, Business Development you will directly report to the Commercial Director and is expected to lead the Business Development Department to new heights by driving online/offline GSA sales, interline partnerships and business growth. Leading the sales team, you will motivate them to meet and exceed targets, while encouraging a culture of accountability and success. You will take charge in reviewing and selecting agents and monitoring interline business development. You will also manage daily operations of the Hong Kong business while working closely with the field sales office to ensure an alignment of strategic objectives and goals.
The Successful Applicant
You will have at least 10 years of experience in a senior management position with a Sales/business development background within the Airline Industry. You should have a good understanding of interline and GSA partnerships - those with an international airline network will be highly regarded. You should have a track record of significant sales growth, both individually and as a business and team leader. You should have an excellent command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese as well as be presentable, excellent communications and confident demeanor. To achieve results you should be a strong leader and be commercially driven with a desire to take responsibility to develop the team.
