About Our Client
Renowned multinational firm
*Responsible for the month end closings and preparation of monthly financial statements.
*Responsible for the timely preparation of monthly reporting package to Head Office.
*Responsible for maintaining the General Ledger accounts; setting up new accounts or cost center when required; ensuring reconciliation of control accounts; ensuring correct allocation of expenditure to cost center.
*Prepare journal entries and reconciles general ledger and subsidiary accounts of the financial statements.
*Assist with the updating, implementing and maintaining the internal controls and introducing new systems and control where appropriate.
*Responsible for the analyzing, accuracy and timeliness of month end financial accounts.
*Responsible for the submission of statutory accounts and tax submissions; liaising with the external auditors and tax agent.
*Responsible for maintaining the statutory records (minutes and registers, etc).
*Responsible for reviewing, updating and implementing existing internal accounting systems and introducing new systems and controls where appropriate.
*Responsible for cash flow reporting on a weekly basis to Treaury.
*Any other activities related to the financial activities of the company.
*Supervise and lead a the Accounting and FP&A teams.
*Liaise with the local management, departments, and global finance teams.
The Successful Applicant
(Qualification / Education / Years of experience)
*Bachelor's degree majoring in accountancy or professional qualification (ACCA or equivalent).
*At least 7 working years in finance position. Candidates with working experience in MNC environment or Big 4 accounting firm will have an added advantage.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS
*Familiar with ERP FI Module. Candidates with SAP experience and Visual Manufacturing will have an added advantage.
*Proficiency in MS Office applications. Skilled user in Excel and Powerpoint.
*Understand and manage full set of accounts.
NON-TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS
*Good organizational, supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills.
*Ability to work independently and on own initiative, within a team environment.
*Ability to work independently with low supervision.
*Attention to detail and accuracy.
*Strong analytical, multi-tasking and problem solving skills.
*Good verbal and written presentation skills.
*People management skills as the incumbent needs to lead a team.
