About Our Client
Our client is a leading investment bank with a very strong brand and reputation within the industry. Due to the bank's growth and needs in attending to employment matters, a newly created opening has arisen for a seasoned employment lawyer. This is a rare in house opportunity for an employment lawyer.
This is a newly created legal role with a leading investment bank where they are seeking for an employment lawyer to join the Human Resources Group. The team consists of 40-50 people covering the entire region and this is the second legal hire for the team. You will advise the bank on a full range of employment regulatory matters covering compensation and staff, exit conversations, employee data, tax, compensation, benefits and relocation.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will possess 3 to 8 years' post-qualification experience gained in the area of employment law with local experience. It is useful for the candidate to have knowledge in either of the following areas including employee data, compensation, exit conversations, benefits or relocation is useful. The ability to draft and to advise on a range of employment documents is required, as is the understanding of local regulatory requirements governing employment matters. Personality wise you will be a strong communicator with ability to work with stakeholders at all levels and across all areas of businesses. You will have a strong passion to move in house / to build on an in house career. Excellent English language skills required and Chinese language skills are preferred though not mandatory.
