About Our Client
Established in 1980s, our client is a global leader and innovator of designing, manufacturing and distributing quality, cost-effective products and solutions for food packaging and food service. Headquartered in US, our client currently has their facilities in US, Europe and China. The first China factory was established 9 years ago and has around 800 workforce and annual production revenue is approximately $55M US with average growth rate of 20%+ over the last 3 years.
As Asian Director of Sales & Marketing, you will monitor competitive activities in the marketplace in the form of sales strategies, product market analyses, quality, promotional activity, new product introductions, product pricing and positioning. You will identify business opportunities based on customer knowledge and industry trends and develop strategy and plans to achieve profitable sales growth, both short and long term in the target markets/segments /customers and this result will be delivered through best in class selling strategies, Tactics and execution. You will be key person to generate joint business plans and growth ideas that benefit customers & the company and to build up the strategic partnership with key customers, effectively communicate customer's strategies and requirement to internal functions within the company to assure 100% customer satisfaction. Additionally, by working closely with NPD, Center for Innovation, manufacturing and other functions, you will be responsible to develop innovative solution to meet customer needs and company's objectives.
As the head of commercial function, you will be capable to define the resource requirement for meeting the business objectives, acquire top talent and develop a high performance productive and cohesive team, establish a positive working environment which motivates and engages talent to achieve desired results and team work.
The Successful Applicant
For the qualified candidate, you will be a degree holder in business , Marketing, or a related filed with over 15 years of progressively responsible sales, marketing and sales operations experience in B2B environment. You will have solid experience in developing and leading a high performance team within a large organization and proven track record of developing creative innovative and complete business solutions and driving sales growth within Asia Pacific Region. You will be a conceptual-thinker but practical and be able to deal with conceptual and strategic issues at the same time a hands-on and pragmatic work style with ability to manage multiple priorities. Result-oriented, high-level of energy and passion, ownership for success, strong desire to make a difference and a sense of urgency.You will be a true leader and be able to build rapport quickly and gain the respects of peers, direct reports, customers and trade partners. Excellent negotiation, communication and business presentation skills. Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese is must. MBA is highly preferred.
