About Our Client
Our client is a privately-owned US based Software Company with global sales presence across US, UK, Europe and Asia Pacific. For the Greater China market, they have mainly been working via channel partners but are now looking to boost their direct sales presence and strengthen their channel relationships. This is a newly created role due to expansion and business needs in the region. You will be joining a fast-growing and exciting company that has a reputable name in the industry. As a Country Account Manager, you will report to VP of Global Sales and will be responsible for driving business development activities with potential clients from both within the Hong Kong and China territories. You will drive the entire sales process, and targeting top accounts, identify solutions, negotiate product pricing and contracts, and close the sales through to completion. Using a strategic and consultative approach, you will identify the shortcomings of potential client's current analytics software and showcase the firm's products and capabilities. You will also work closely with the channel partners to further develop the business. You will be the key point of contact for existing customers, and be responsible for renewal as well as all contractual negotiation. You will be following up on generated sales leads and referrals to develop new markets, and working with both the regional and global teams for support and resource management. This is a strategic role and you are expected to organically generate leads and drive the business forward.
The Successful Applicant
This role demands and individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to drive a region autonomously with a clear vision of growth. To be successful in this role, you should have around 7 years' experience in B2B solutions selling, preferably software solutions. Those with a good track record in analytics software selling will be also be highly regarded. You should also have a strong track record of having created new business and demonstrate the ability to build relationship with senior executives across multiple industries.
To be eligible for this role, you should be an independent, proactive and strong hunter sales who enjoys developing and mapping out your own market. You should also have excellent presentation with good selling, presentation and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be a strong communicator in both English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
