*To develop and managing contract scenarios for the regional and country business teams via a common online platform or offline physical interfacing mode:
by providing advice and guidance on the design of appropriate transaction models, after considering all the relevant local factors such as market, customers' strategies, competition, Company's strategy, etc.
by providing advice and guidance on constructing and maintaining appropriate contract scenarios via - (a) setting the terms and conditions of transactions and accordingly baselines for a customer group; (b) integrating and streamlining the management of existing important contract scenarios such as those applicable for solutions and delivery; (c) regular updating of contract scenarios constructed.
*To secure and manage a high-quality portfolio of contracts:
by acting as a lead negotiator in developing, negotiating and executing key strategic project contracts with our customers, as required by senior management.
by taking initiatives in continuously improving the contract quality of customer group as designated in order to meet the Company's risk and business objectives.
*To act as a knowledge management advisor - by working with the regional and country teams to prepare, complete, and present an "ex-post" case analysis report on certain project contracts with significant strategic and learning implications for the Company.
*To work with other members of Center of Excellence and conduct expert-level research into high-profile topics and areas as designed by senior management.
*To act as a lecturer or tutor of executive and staff training programs as designated by the management.
*To provide management support as considered necessary by the management.
The Successful Applicant
Applicants are expected to meet the following requirements for the position:
Minimum of 15 years relevant working experience with a reputable MNC in ITC industry. Candidates with less relevant experience will be considered for a position with a lower internal grade and title.
*A deep knowledge in contract and commercial law, telecommunications equipment and services, regulations, business environment and general practice in the local and global ICT industry.
*Deep insight of the local business scenarios for certain countries and/or global customers in respect of solutions, delivery, supply and project implementation, transaction models and the associated contractual terms and conditions.
*A successful track record and field experience in managing big-ticket and complex projects through active engagement in contract design and negotiation, decision-making and project implementation.
*Competence in managing multi-disciplinary functions, particularly with the ability to integrate pre-sales and after-sales commercial and contract management; plus a strong mindset of being a solution integrator cutting across the various boundaries of products and services, and supporting professional departments.
*Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to communicate in Chinese is definitely an advantage. Competence in communicating with will all levels of senior management is expected.
*Must be self-initiative with high spirit of team work. A style of being a business leader able to drive the growth and transformation of the organization and support the career development of each member inside the organization.
A bachelor or master degree in telecommunications, engineering, computer science, business administration, law, international trade and finance, or other relevant subjects, preferably with professional qualification in a particular field.
Limited business travel is required.
