About Our Client
Our client is an international electronic components company with established operations across the globe. To support their growth plan for the APAC region, they are now looking for an aggressive sales leader to join their team.
Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for building and expanding the business of the APAC region. You will formulate and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth via both direct sales and distributors. To expand market share and ensure sustainability of the business, you will develop key account strategies and cultivate long term relationship with key EMS/ OEM clients. You will recruit and coach a small sales team in the region as well as managing the daily operation of the sales function. You will communicate with the management team regularly to provide updates on business performance and market insights. Regular travelling is required.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify for this role, you should have at least 12 years of direct sales and distributor management experience in the electronic components industry. Prior regional exposure and work experience with multinational distributors is highly preferred. Strong experience in building business relationship with EMS/ OEM customers is essential. You should be an ambitious individual who enjoys building a business from a small scale. Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment are crucial traits to excel in this role. A good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is required.
