About Our Client
Our client is an international company with offices and businesses globally. They are now further expanding their Asia presence by adding in a brand new headcount for a Business Development Manager. Their company focuses on a start to finish solution for retail clients and have established themselves as a leader on innovation and design. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter to take on a critical role as their Business Development Manager.
This position will require a self-starter and someone who is passionate about developing B2B business. Your role will be focused mainly in Hong Kong and China but will have opportunities to expand regionally as well. Your role will be to develop new retail clients ranging from different industries and to bring in new business for the company. You will also act as an account manager, along with internal staff members from other departments to consult and to ensure the progress of each retail development project. You will utilize your network and internal resources to complete presentations, lead projects and to strategize for the development of Asia's sales business.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate must be a very strong sales person with high drive and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must have a strong network with B2B clients and must have a strong mindset in how to develop new clients. You must have project management experience and you must have strong presentation skills. This post requires someone who is proactive, takes initiative and is results oriented. Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a must.
