About Our Client
Our client is one of the leading international education institutions in the world. Their offices are located across the world with over 30,000 staff across more than 50 countries. They are now looking for a stable and talented Business Development Manager to join and develop the team with new business lines in Hong Kong.
As the Business Development Manager you will directly report to the Head of Admission and Marketing and will be driving sales and business growth. You will manage and support the business development and sales of the B2C lines directly with students and B2B with colleges, education agents as well as corporates. Working closely on the development of the sales team, you will motivate them to meet and exceed targets, while encouraging a culture of accountability and success. You will take part in developing and coordinating custom programs to meet client requirements. You are also expected to take part in seminars, education exhibitions and networking events as required to develop leads into working partnerships.
The Successful Applicant
You will have at least 5 years of experience in a sales position with a Solutions Sales/business development background. Those with experience within the education/corporate training industry will be highly regarded. You should have a track record of significant sales growth as an individual contributor. You will have an excellent command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese as well as be presentable, excellent communications and confident demeanor. To achieve results you should be a strong sales and be commercially driven with a desire to take responsibility of your market.
