About Our Client
Our client is a well-known company and market leader in textile and garment industry in premium fashion market. Partnering with renowned international brands, a strong need has arisen to recruit a seasoned senior sales manager to further expand their business in Asia.
Based in Hong Kong, this is a key role for new business development for textile and garment business. Reporting to the Head of Sales and working closely with the merchandising team, you will formulate sales and marketing strategy targeting luxury fashion market to drive business, achieve and exceed company's targets and expand business in overseas market. You aggressively grow market share through business development with key clients and vendors. This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented sales and business professional to take the lead for business development in overseas market.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should have 10 years sales and marketing experience within the textile and apparel industry. Prior experience and strong network with textile manufacturers, suppliers, buying offices in US, Europe and S.E. Asia is an advantage. The candidate should have a strong business mindset, an entrepreneurial spirit and a proven track record of sales performance and accomplishments. You must be a strong communicator, be hands on and have exceptional negotiation and management skills. Regular travel within designated region and an ability to drive the growth of the region autonomously will be required. A good command in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) is required.
