About Our Client
Our client is a prominent brand within the automotive industry. Due to business expansion in regional scale, they are currently hiring for a Sales Manager to join as part of the management team.
Reporting into the business owner, you will oversee and manage all sales operations of new and pre-owned vehicles. Since this is an intensely competitive industry, you will be responsible for developing campaigns, marketing plans and other effective techniques for the company to excel. Aside from thinking of innovative ways to sell cars, the automotive sales manager will also help with other tasks including maintaining the allotted budget, employing and training new staff, mastering the features of all cars in their lot, entertaining car buyers and handling customer complains or inquiries. You will also control stocks, sales reports and invoices and other documents released under your supervision.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 10 years progressive experience within the sales department of a vehicle dealership, and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly on the special features of respective vehicles. You will promote professionalism in dealing with day to day work in your office and dealing with clients whilst be well organised handling both sales and managerial duties. You will be possess excellent customer service, PR skills, strong leadership and negotiation skills. You should be flexible and be able to receive rejection, since even the most skilled sales person can be turned down occasionally.
