About Our Client
Our client is an European luxury label that is renowned for their precision cuts and luxurious craftsmanship. Their product category is wide, ranging from ready-to-wear, tailoring, shoes to small accessories. To cope with their Asia market progression, they are currently looking for target-driven candidate to join them as Assistant Merchandiser- Buying.
Report to Buying Team Manager, you will be required to support across all buying activities, for instance to support and develop seasonal and non-seasonal merchandise plan, as well as to assist in OTB planning. In addition, you will need to prepare and monitor various reports, including Sales Report on weekly and monthly basis, Sell-through report and inventory/replenishment report etc. In order to enhance stock movement, you will need to coordinate with overseas vendor and make sure merchandise is delivered to right time
The Successful Applicant
Successful candidate will need Degree holder in Fashion Management/ Textile or relevant disciplines. You will need at least 2 years of working experience in Buying or Retail Merchandising disciplines, for those who have working experience in luxury retail would be a plus. You will need to be team-oriented and self-motivated, have good time management and good analytical skill. Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong in Excel would be crucial. Good command of spoken and written would also be key attributes.
