About Our Client
Our client is a well established organisation seeking an experience Procurement/Merchandising candidate to join them to leverage his/her market knowledge and network as well as leading their existing team.
Leading a field team, you will work closely with internal parties and external vendors in order to initiate and implement projects according to the organisational objectives, goals and budgets. You will identify, manage and overcome issues that arise throughout the process. Working closely with your own team and with your strong background with buyers and suppliers, you will advise, coach and educate target groups on resources and production requirements, market trends, as well other social issues in order to archive optimal outcome.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you will have at least 5 years of experience in merchandising/procurement/sourcing for fashion accessories/ home products. You will have track record in leadership with high flexibility and strong ability to adapt. You will be open to frequent travel, including developing countries. You must have good command in both spoken/written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
