About Our Client
Our client is as leading company headquartered in Hong Kong with global offices in major key cities. Over the past decades, they have established their presence in more than 80 countries with thousands of staff located in Hong Kong and overseas. To cope with their continued expansion, they are now inviting an energetic, pro-active and capable individual to join their Internal Audit Team.
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for group risk assessment and development of annual audit plan. You will plan, execute and follow up on financial, operational and compliance audit assignments and to identify control weaknesses for recommending appropriate improvements. You will submit timely internal audit reports to managements and perform follow-up work to ensure smooth and proper implementation of audit recommendations. The role will also play a key role on evaluating group policies and procedures, and working with external auditor on internal control matters. The role will also lead and supervise junior internal auditors and be project leaders on audit assignments.
The Successful Applicant
You will be a university graduate and qualified accountant (CPA,CIA,etc) with over 5 years' of auditing experience at a professional external auditing firm. Apart from having outstanding interpersonal, communication and time management skills, you will be expected to demonstrate good leadership as well as being proactive on tackling daily responsibilities. You will be a responsible team player with a detail-oriented mindset who will excel in a fast-paced environment. Good command of written and spoken English, Putonghua and Chinese are necessary. The role involves travelling in the APAC region.
