About Our Client
Our client is a French FMCG company with a long history focused on providing quality and natural food worldwide. They are looking to further accelerate their business in Asia and would like to add an additional headcount for an Asia Sales Manager. As a leader in their product category, they are looking for a strong business professional that will be able to represent their values and brand across Asia.
The Asia Sales Manager position is a key role within our Client's Asia Management team, as you will take the lead and hold the responsibility for further business expansion in Asia. Reporting to the Head of Export, you will act as the Brand ambassador to drive the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies. You will focus on relationship development and business development with distributors across Asia regions. Your role will emphasis on expanding new and existing channels, driving sales, identifying opportunities and growing market share and brand awareness. You must have a business-oriented mind-set to achieve and exceed company's sales targets and objectives. Travelling will be a key aspect of the role to understand the markets and to further relationships with partners.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate must be familiar with the Asia landscape and have at least 4 - 8 years of experience with distributor management on a regional level. It is key to be experienced with sales, marketing and ecommerce strategies. They must have strong retail knowledge and have previous business development and international business experience. Candidates with F&B, FMCG and consumer product experience within European multinationals is most preferred. This role demands a high-energy individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to build new business, with a clear vision of growth. You must be a strong communicator, be hands-on and have exceptional negotiation and management skills. The candidate must be a degree holder. Regular travel within Asia and an ability to drive the growth of the region autonomously will be required. Proficiency in French and English is a must, while other additional languages is preferred.
