Hayco's origins date back over four generations to when William Hay established the SA Brush Company in South Australia in 1893. Later under the management of son, F. Dean Hay the company evolved into SABCO, and firmly established itself as a household name in cleaning products in Australia, United Kingdom, Europe, Japan, South Africa and USA.

But it was the founder's grandson, who had the vision and foresight to create an international company that is today one of the world's leading manufacturers of state-of-the-art household cleaning and personal care products.

After 22 years of international experience and appreciating first hand the growth potential of Asia as a manufacturing base, Donald Hay left the family business in 1983 to establish his own, independent company - Hayco Manufacturing Ltd - based in Hong Kong and manufacturing in China. The company was a pioneer in establishing modern manufacturing and quality production standards in Southern China.

Hayco's success is demonstrated by its growing customer portfolio which includes: Procter & Gamble, 3M, Church & Dwight, Kaercher, Clorox, Rubbermaid, Bissell, Wal-Mart, ASDA, K-Mart and Lowe's.
