Visa Requirements
To work in Hong Kong, you will need to be sponsored by an employer, unless you are already a citizen. To be eligible for citizenship you will have been born in Hong Kong or one of your parents is the holder of a permanent Hong Kong ID card.
The process for a contractor/temporary person is the same as someone seeking a permit for a permanent position and must be initiated in Hong Kong so you will need to plan trips here for interviews. If you are interested in moving to Hong Kong, Cantonese or Mandarin language skills will be an advantage.
It is always best to contact the embassy of the country you are hoping to work in to get the full picture. More detailed information on visas for Hong Kong can be found at the Hong Kong Immigration Department.
